Hello and welcome...
I’m Anne, an independent celebrant with more than twelve years’ experience supporting families and couples across Worcestershire, the West Midlands and surrounding counties — and occasionally further afield.
I create and deliver personal, bespoke ceremonies for life’s most important moments, including funerals, celebrations of life, natural burials, memorials, weddings, vow renewals, and baby naming ceremonies.
Your ceremony can take place on a day, at a time and at a venue that feels right for you. Apart from venue-imposed limits, such as crematorium timings, there is space to shape every detail around your wishes, values and story.

Just a little about me....
I'm a story teller - always have been, always will be!
From a young age, I loved writing and sharing stories; it was the only time I enjoyed speaking in front of the class! Those two creative threads now sit at the heart of my work as a celebrant.
After studying and working as a graphic designer, I built a fast-paced career in recruitment before taking a career break to raise my family. During those years, I also ran my own successful business alongside the school run.
Eleven years into running my business, I felt drawn towards a new direction. When a friend died suddenly, I attended a non-religious funeral ceremony in his memory, thus discovered the role of a Celebrant.
Peter’s ceremony left me feeling inspired and uplifted. I trained with Civil Ceremonies and quickly realised that my life experience, communication skills, creativity and love of people were the perfect combination of skills to work as a Celebrant, and since qualifying in 2015, I haven’t looked back!
My daughters have grown and flown the nest, and I couldn’t be more proud of the strong, independent women they’ve become. Away from my desk, you’ll find me delivering ceremonies, meeting couples and families, or fooling around with my gorgeous grandaughter, walking in the countryside with our border terrier Pippa — accompanied, on occasion, by our cats Milo and Rio! (Yes you heard me right!). I’m also an enthusiastic gardener and love catching up with friends; the simple pleasures in life!
I know and appreciate only too well how precious life can be, so try to live by the phrase Carpe Diem: seize the day. I feel exceptionally lucky to have found a vocation I’m so passionate about, and I’m eternally grateful for the love and support of my family and friends, enabling me to fulfil my vocation for many years to come.
