From your first call to the ceremony itself, I’ll guide and support you, helping you achieve the perfect balance of joy (and often humour) with dignity, while respecting familiar traditions and embracing modern styles of delivery.

Funeral ceremonies reflecting your wishes

 

​I create ceremonies for crematoriums, council-run burial grounds, natural burial grounds and other appropriate venues (For more individual ceremonies tailored for venues outside the above, see my Celebrations of Life page). Where a venue has a fixed time allocation, I ensure your loved ones ceremony fits without compromising the content nor personal touches that are meaningful to you.

You can include music, singing, readings, contributions from family and friends, photo tributes and at some venues, you can even take along a much-loved animal companion. (Ask me about Merlin the cat who 'meeowed' to accompany the hymns!). Because I’m an independent celebrant rather than a Humanist celebrant, I can also include faith elements at your request which is particularly helpful for non-practising or multi-faith families.

With more than twelve years’ experience as a funeral celebrant, I’m accustomed to gently supporting and guiding families through all forms of loss. I approach every family with sensitivity and without judgement, recognising that no two losses are the same, often helping families navigate difficult relationships with diplomacy and discretion.​​
