As an independent wedding celebrant, I take time to get to know each of my couples before writing and delivering a completely bespoke wedding ceremony. My ceremonies are warm, joyful and relaxed, with as much humour and personality as feels right for you.

Registrar or wedding celebrant?

​

A registrar conducts the legal marriage at a licensed venue, usually within a set appointment time. A celebrant-led wedding ceremony gives you much more freedom over your venue, date, time, words and style. This gives my couples complete freedom and flexibility to shape their ceremony, their way - sharing their story, in a tone and style that's unique to them, and because I guarantee only one ceremony per day, you can be confident you’ll have my full, undivided attention on your special day!

My couples complete the legal marriage separately with a registrar, often before their wedding ceremony, saving their rings, outfits, personal vows and full celebration, for their wedding ceremony with me.

How your bespoke wedding ceremony comes together

​

Once we’ve confirmed your venue, date and my availability, we’ll arrange an introductory video call to make sure I’m the right celebrant for you. If everyone is happy, I’ll issue my Contract of Services and the first of 3 instalments (30%) will secure your date.

​

Over a glass of wine or a pot (or two) of tea, I’ll learn how you came together, your life since, and your future aspirations - oh, and of course, we couldn’t forget, the magic ingredient that makes you you!​

​

From here, I’ll start to pick up on the subtleties between you both; your little quirks, your chemistry – the finer details that makes you as a couple truly unique – you may not even know them yourselves until you’re in receipt of your script!

I then begin drafting your ceremony three months before your big day, so you’ll have plenty of time to approve a final version that truly “sings”.

What can we include in your ceremony?

​

You can share your story, exchange rings and personal vows, include readings, poems, music or contributions from family and friends, and involve children or animal companions where the venue allows. From handmade ring boxes to surprise speakers and original poems, personal details all help to make your ceremony truly memorable and unique to you.

On your wedding day

​

I’ll arrive in good time, liaise with your venue and help settle any nerves. And when you walk down your aisle, a friendly, familiar face will be waiting (that'll be me)! I’ll share your story with genuine warmth love and sincerity, helping you feel comfortable and present throughout. And don't forget, there’s no rush, so be sure to make your kiss last at the end!

After your vows, rings and any signing you choose to include, I’ll present you back to your family and friends before you head back up the aisle in readiness for your celebrations to begin!
